The SLR-2500 is the middle model in Unilite’s range of hexagonal rechargeable LED Site lights with an output of 2500 lumens from a 20 W COB LED on the maximum setting and has three output levels to chose from.

Offering excellent light spread and power the SLR-2500 is operated using the power button located on the back with each press cycling through low, mid, high and off.

Utilising a 11.1 V 4400 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery, the SLR-2500 has a run time of up to 2 hours, 30 minutes on the highest setting. The battery is easily recharged by lifting the dust cover on the back of the light and inserting the charging cable into the charging port at one end and inserting the other end into the mains socket. The included mains adaptor comes with four different plug attachments for use in multiple countries such as UK, USA, Australia and in the EU.

While charging the three charging indicators on the back will display charging progress with one light flashing to start with before becoming solid and the next light flashing until eventually all three LEDs are solid after approximately 3 hours, 30 minutes full charge time.

The three LED indicators also light up when the torch is turned on to show remaining battery power at the current output. It is made from industrial strength aircraft grade aluminium with super tough florescent yellow centre for increased visibility, and also features a large aluminium heat sink for heat dispersion.

A stand is tucked away at the back and can be pulled out and rotated within a 180° range so that the light can be angled in the perfect direction and it also doubles as a useful carry handle when pulled all the way out. The bottom of the stand features a large hole where the separately sold super strong magnet can be attached so that the light can be stuck to magnetic surfaces.

This site light is also compatible with the extendable single and double head tripods that are available to purchase separately.

Unilite SLR-1000 LED Rechargeable Folding Work Light 1000 Lumens

The SLR-1000 is a folding portable worklight that has a 1000 Lumen output via COB LED. In addition it has a 300 Lumen LED flashlight in its head for spot work. The Unilite HL-7R rechargeable head torch offers a maximum output of 475 lumens from its high power Cree white spot LED and also has flood LEDs which can be combined to give a range of outputs to suit different tasks.

It features a sensor control switch so that the torch can be turned on and off by waving your hand in front of the torch (approx. 15 cm metres sensing distance), which is perfect for when you’re carrying out tasks where your hands may be dirty so you don’t want to touch the torch. There is also a regular push button to operate the torch if you don’t want to use the sensor control.

To operate the torch with sensor control it needs to be activated by pressing the left hand button, and then when you wave your hand in front of it the light will turn on/off in the high spot output. To exit the sensor output simply press the sensor button again. The right hand button operates the torch normally and each press will cycle through spot high, spot low, spot & flood, flood and off. If left in any mode longer than 3 seconds the next press will turn it off.

Powered by a built in 1800 mAh Lithium polymer rechargeable battery, the HL-7R has a run-time of 2 hours in the brightest mode. Recharging the unit is fast and easy thanks to the USB type C charging, simply insert the cable into the underside of the head torch (with the torch turned off) and the other end into a USB power source with an output of 1 A. To show charging is in progress a red LED will illuminate and turn green to show charging is complete after approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes. The indicator will also display the battery level with either a red light (less than 30%) or a green light (up to 70%) when the torch is turned on.

The high visibility technology means that you will always be seen, which is useful when working in an industrial environment. The fully adjustable non-slip silicone lined headband helps keep the head torch secure on your head or on a hardhat and a hinged bracket allows the HL-7R to be adjusted downwards within a 45° angle so you can direct the light source where you need it most.
