The Makita DC18RD Dual Port Battery Charger 14.4V – 18V is able to consecutively charge 2 Makita batteries with the same performance and charge times as a single battery.
This means that you can now charge 2 batteries, in the time is used to take you to charge one and seeing as Makita already had the fastest charging battery on the market that really is saying something.
This model also features a fully charged sound alert, LED charging display, forced cooling system and electronic current limiter for overload protection.
The DC18RD uses a CPU to communicate with the batteries built in memory chip during a charge cycle, which analyses the data stored in the battery chip to decide on the best charging method at that time. This innovative technology results in longer battery life.

The Makita DC40RB 40V MAX XGT Twin Port Charger will charge two XGT batteries at the same time.
The charger includes a large charging status indicator light display and signals a melody (which you can choose) to inform you when the battery is charged.
The charger is equipped with two charging fans (for both the charging circuit as well as the battery) and has the option of being wall mounted.
The charging control uses feedback for real-time battery data to ensure optimal charging and includes a limiter to prevent overloading.
The Makita DC40RB 40V MAX XGT Twin Port Charger will also charge LXT-series batteries, but only when used in conjunction with the ADP10 Battery Adapter (not included).
