The Dewalt DCS781N 54V XR Flexvolt Brushless 305mm Slide Mitre Saw delivers a level of accuracy and precision that vastly exceeds what is already available on the market today.
So much so, that it will machine will deliver up to 0.1° accuracy in key applications. An updated Cam action mitre lock function ensures that mitre settings take less time to get in place. It will allow you to quickly adjust angles between 0° – 50° left and 0° – 60° right.
Despite being impressively powerful, the DCS781N is surprisingly compact and lightweight. Despite its size, it is still vastly capable of completing a range of applications on site while being easier to move and transport around the worksite.
The base includes a grooving stop which allows for the adjustment of the cutting depth when working on either groove or rebate jobs. The large dual sliding fence gives maximum support in large material cuts at any angle or combination of angles.
The saw features a 20mm linear horizontal rail with three bearings to provide premium levels of precision when cutting materials.
Among some of the other features of the DCS781 are some exclusive Dewalt technologies such as the XPS Shadow Line which provides a fast and accurate alignment of the blade against the piece you’re working on. Also include are Wireless Tool Control and AirLock which lets you both connect directly to a dust extractor as well as activating the extractor at the same time of using the saw.
At the heart of this saw is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.

The Milwaukee M18 FMS305-0 18V FUEL ONE-KEY Brushless 305mm Double Bevel Mitre Saw is designed to meet the demanding needs of professional carpenters and remodelers.
The saw has the capability to deliver the power to cut at the same rate of an equivalent AC 305mm saw, with the ability to cut up to 500 pieces of 78 mm pine base board on a single 12.0 Ah battery charge – this allows for full day working flexibility without the need of worrying about having to charge or change the battery.
Perfect to work with the Milwaukee HighOutput batteries, this elevates the mitre saw to a new level and delivers extended performance and extended run time. These tools are designed to maximise the partnership with HIGH OUTPUT batteries.
The large sliding fences gives maximum support to the material being cut providing stability and accuracy while the steel detent plate with preset angles gives repeatable accurate cuts.
A trenching stop with depth adjustment allows the user to make trenching and rebate cuts. The saw is capable of going up to 48° both left and right for bevel cuts; for Mitre cuts, the Milwaukee FMS305 offers 55° to the left and 60° to the right.
For easy as well as accurate cutting, the M18 FMS305 includes a bright LED light to illuminate the work piece and ensure that you are able to see the cut line clearly delivering accurate cutting results.
ONE-KEY technology not only allows to track the location of your tools, thereby reducing the risk of either theft or loss, but you can dial in precision settings, view utilisation data, and get alerted before equipment needs repair.
