The POWERSTATE brushless motor means up to 3x longer motor life, up to 2x more cuts per charge and up to 25% more power, no load speed and 5000 rpm.
The Milwaukee CCS550 Circular Saw also features a dust blower to keep the cut line clear, LED light to illuminate the cut line, cut and depth scales with wear resistant design for longer life and magnesium shoe, upper and lower guards.
The CCS5500 uses Li-ion batteries, superior to their NiMH counterparts. No memory effect allows them to be charged whenever you like, lightweight at up to 40% of a similar sized NiCD or NiMH battery. Plus they do not bleed their charge when unused.

The DHS680 is Makita’s first brushless circular saw, becoming one of the latest members of Makita’s impressive line up of 18v Lithium-ion cordless tools. Boasting a brand new brushless motor and some new in-built features the DHS680 looks set to become one of the most popular cordless circular saws on the market.
The new highly efficient brushless motor has several benefits over the brushed equivalent. Firstly, because there are no brushes within the motor, none of the battery power is wasted on creating the heat and friction that happens when using brushes, so consequently the battery lasts longer (per charge) and the energy created by the battery is far more efficient allowing your tool to achieve higher capacities so this saw will be able to cut, longer, faster and into tougher materials.
Another benefit of the brushless motor is there are no moving/touching parts in the motor, so there is nothing wearing away at anything else and getting damaged. Your motor is going to be kept in far better condition than before.
Powerful 680w produces a max 5000rpm no load speed, the 165mm diameter blade producing a max cut at 90° of 57mm, max cut at 45° of 41mm and a max cut at 50° of 37mm.
An impressive new feature found on this saw is the ‘Automatic Speed Control’. This feature allows the computer chip built into the saw to determine the most efficient cutting speed for the job that you’re doing! It increases or reduces the speed of the saw making sure that it only uses the right amount of energy when required. This ensures optimum operation, so you get the most out of your saw, blade and battery.
Another handy new feature is the battery state indicator which uses 3 LED lights to illuminate the amount of battery charge you have left so you’ll never be caught without power just when you need it.

The Bosch GKS 18V-57-2 Brushless 18V 165mm Circular Saw is a compact, all-rounder saw for robust jobs with the blade on the right of the control.
The powerful and high-performance saw is ideal for dealing with wood and wood composites. It is equipped with a fast brake to quick-shutdown, along with a dust blower function, which along with the LED work light, ensures that you can clearly see the cut line at all times.
The 165mm saw features a front handle which enhances control as well as spindle lock. It features a 360° rotatable dust port connector, which is compatible with the Click & Clean System.
