The Milwaukee M18 FPS55 18V FUEL Brushless Plunge Saw delivers the same power and performance as a corded plunge saw.

It delivers the ability to cut 45 metres of 18mm plywood on a single, fully charged 5.5Ah battery.  The saw features a depth adjustment with two scales – one for on the rail, and the other for off the rail.  Both can be easily adjusted just by simply pressing a button.

For comfortable working, the saw has an optimal dust extraction system thanks to the enclosed guard.  It is supplied with a dust bag as standard, but is also compatible with the DEK26 system.  On the flat sided upper guard, the blade is only 12mm from the outer edge of the guard allowing for closer cuts to walls, doors and more.

The scoring stop allows for a 1mm back cut to minimise splintering on laminated materials and preventing damage to work surfaces. For premium operation, the saw also has a cut line window on the side for those cuts when you need to see the front of the blade working against the material.

The blades are changed easily – the system locks the switch off and holds the blade in position for changing.  A retractable riving knife allows for the knife to stay in position; even when making plung cuts.

The bevel adjustment has stops at 22.5°, 45°and 48°. It also has a -1 for making a back cut.  Thanks to the includes of FUEL Brushless motor, the saw delivers a variable speed of 2500 – 5600rpm.
