The Milwaukee M12 BLP 12V Brushless 56mm Planer is a stunningly compact cordless planer that offers a 56mm planning width and 2mm depth.
Perfect for a wide range of applications, this compact and lightweight planer allows for one-handed operation and can even be used when working on materials overhead.
The planer drum holds two TCT reversible blades and is capable of running up to 14,000rpm no load speed. This delivers a smooth delivery and consistent results every time. With a single 4.0Ah battery, the planer can easily cover up to 60m of continuous use at 2mm depth in oak.
With a 17.5mm rebate depth, the planer also incudes a dual sided dust port to efficient debris removal on either side of the device. It also storage for additional blades along with a kick stand on the base that protects materials for accidental damage.
As you would expect from Milwaukee, the planer includes the REDLINK overload protection system as well as the REDLITHIUM control that aids in enhancing the battery performance along with providing superior pack construction.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.

The Milwaukee M12 HB5 5Ah 12V High Output Li-Ion Battery is designed for the 12V range of Milwaukee power tools.
As part of the High Output range from Miilwaukee, the battery delivers up to 25% more power than other ‘standard’ M12 batteries. This is as a result of a combination of exclusive technologies, improved electronics, better cell density and the resultant power output of the batteries, make the High Output range an incredible sought after accessory.
Being part of the Milwaukee range, it utilises REDLINK intelligent electronics which includes overload protection, temperature management and cell monitoring to ensure that the battery is in premium condition at all times.
The battery is surrounded by impact and vibration protection rubber. It can run in colder conditions as well being more resistant to oils, solvent s and grease thanks to improved housing.
