The Trend T7EK 1/2” Variable Speed Plunge Router is one of the most popular and powerful plunge routers on the market at the moment.
This trade focused plunge router, with advanced safety features has been engineered to deliver fast, accurate, reliable cuts. With a 2100W motor (1750W in 110V) and an 50mm plunge depth, the T7EK is perfect for deep cutting jobs such as kitchen fitting, worktop joints and timber profiling.
The Variable speed control dial features 6 increments ranging from 11,500rpm to 28,000rpm, which gives the user total control across a wider range of cutter styles, cutter sizes, materials, and applications.
With ergonomically inclined handles for effortless control that also include the power trigger, the T7EK includes a micro-adjustable side fence with adjustable facings and 0.1mm increments to expert edge rebating, grooving and moulding.
A plunge depth limiter prevents over-cutting by mistake and is easy to control. The fine height adjustment offers and easy to read display for precision adjustments for depth cutting – 1 rotation with equate to a 2mm adjustment.
There are present depth limits for repeat jobs or stepped cutting which is found with the 7-position rotating turret. A double locking collet prevents accidental cutter ejection while the spindle lock allows for speedy and safe cutter changeovers.
An additional 1/4in collet-reducing sleeve maximises the range of cutters and routing applications.
