Intriguingly complex aroma with sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits. Silky smooth, revealing layers sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. Full bodied and bursting with flavour with a finish that’s satisfyingly rich with lingering sweetness.
Background – The richly layered Glenfiddich 15 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky is matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in our unique, handcrafted Solera vat. The Solera vat is never emptied but is always kept at least half full. Here, flavours are harmoniously married, creating a whisky of character and intense complexity.
Aged in selected oak barrels, this Cognac has a rich aroma and incomparably smooth taste.
Each bottle of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel is hand- labelled with its barrel number, giving whiskey connoisseurs the opportunity to detect the subtle differences a barrel brings to the whiskey. Jimmy Bedford, Jack Daniel’s sixth Master Distiller, has been making whiskey a long time. As an official taste-tester he is the man who decides which barrels should become Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel.
Background: Nestled the hills above the Jack Daniel’s Hollow stand the weather worn barrel-houses where Jack Daniel’s whiskey waits until it comes of age. It’s here, within this plain, unassuming structure that a bit of magic takes place with the passing seasons. Summer after summer, the pores of the oak barrels open up, allowing a bit of whiskey to slowly seep in. Then with each winter’s chill, the grain contracts, forcing the whiskey from the wood. Passing in and out the charred oak interior of the barrel, the whiskey is imbued with the rich amber colour, the natural caramelized sugars and the subtle flavours that give Jack Daniel’s its distinctive, time-honoured taste. Because no two barrels and the place they occupy within the warehouse are the same, the whiskey that emerges from each barrel boasts a difference in character. For years, these nuances in taste and colour and character were something only the master distillers, stretching back to Mr. Jack Daniel, were privileged to enjoy. But today as each barrel of whiskey is sampled as it comes of age, the current master distiller, Jimmy Bedford, sets a few aside. They’re the ones with the smoothest taste and most intense flavours. The few destined for something special – to be sold, one barrel at a time, to the more discriminating customers.
Belvedere’s taste profile features a subtle sweetness and smooth, clean finish that only comes from using 100% Dankowskie Gold Rye as the single-grain ingredient. Belvedere Vodka hails from the small town of Zyrardow in the Mazovian plains west of Warsaw, Poland. Following traditions dating back over 600 years, Belvedere is handcrafted in small batches to ensure superior quality meeting only the highest of standards.
Background: Belvedere is distilled four times, the optimum number for enhancing its unique, subtle character. If a taste sampling shows even a hint of imbalance, the entire batch is destroyed. First introduced to North America in 1996, Belvedere single-handedly created the luxury vodka segment (now the fastest-growing category in distilled spirits). Seven years later, Belvedere’s high character and uncompromising integrity are recognized internationally. Consumer demand continues to increase at an accelerated pace, and worldwide recognition of the brand is at an all-time high. As Poland is widely recognized as the birthplace of vodka, it is fitting that Belvedere is named after the Belvedere Palace, formerly home to Polish royalty and presidents. Today, Belvedere Vodka offers a luxury experience to a broad international audience of vodka enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
Presented in a Silver Belvedere Pure branded box.
This handcrafted gin from Hendricks is distilled from a proprietary recipe which includes traditional botanicals such as juniper, coriander and citrus peel. The ‘unexpected’ infusion of cucumber and rose petals result in a most iconoclastic gin. Drink Hendrick’s & Tonic with a slice of Cucumber, not lime.
Background: Despite the possibilities of surprise, most people shy away from what is odd. This gin is for those rare individuals who are excited by what is strange and different. The fact is no other gin tastes like Hendrick’s, and this truth only enhances the experience.
Dead Man’s Fingers Spiced Rum is a small batch spiced rum from The Rum & Crab Shack in Cornwall. Caribbean rum is blended with warming spices and matured in former Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The flavour profile is inspired by Cornish regional favourites, such as saffron cake, spiced fruits and the Crab Shack’s own Pedro Ximenez Ice Cream. Sweet vanilla and caramel notes are prominent on the nose with a touch of cinnamon and citrus. To taste, the sweetness steps back, allowing the spices to shine all the more prominently, with flavours of cinnamon, saffron and brown sugar. Dead Man’s Fingers excels in cocktails, mixed with cola or even simply sipped on its own.
Pale straw yellow in colour. Brilliant, with a rich and persistent foam and fine bubbles. A characteristically fruity and flowery bouquet with scents of Golden apple, Williams pear, acacia flowers and fresh lily. On the palate, it’s harmonious, elegant and fresh.
Background: Bottega Gold is a Prosecco DOC Brut sparkling wine, obtained by the vinification in white of the Glera grapes, grown in the Valdobbiadene hills. This area is close to the Venetian Pre-alps and characterized by a climate perfect for this native grape variety. The vineyards are located on a hilly territory that not only has a landscape of great value but also a long wine-growing tradition. These grapes are hand picked and softly pressed in the winery. The must is maintained in stainless steel containers at low temperature to keep its freshness. It follows the fermentation in autoclave for nearly 40 days, at a controlled temperature of between 14-15° C, with the addition of selected yeasts (Charmat method). The golden bottle protects the wine by any source of light, preserving its aroma and freshness and giving the wine a longer life.
Bottega Pink Gold Prosecco is a sparkling Prosecco rosé that’s Brut in style. It’s a blend of Glera and Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Prosecco DOC area. The grapes are cultivated according to classic and traditional techniques. The distinctive bottle is made with an exclusive metallization process, thanks to which the pink colour is also an integral part of the external surface of the glass.
Bright pink in colour, it has distinct floral hints of jasmine, elderflower and rosebud, with fruity hints of pear and white peach.
